We offer functional nutrition counseling to give insights on how to improve health in a way that conventional medicine cannot. At the root of most health issues and largely dismissed by allopathic medicine are subconscious programs that we get at through meditation. In addition to this, we also perform FBCAs to determine your overall wellness and identify factors that can affect your well‑being

Unlike other ball exercises, YBR goes far beyond random movement and stretch. It allows you to work specific muscles in detail, to create suppleness in tight areas and optimize range of motion. Yamuna Body Rolling™ re-educates muscles and stimulates bone, creating positive, permanent changes in the body. Functional Fitness

  • This class is for ALL fitness levels! No experience necessary to join. Bring whatever tools you have (dumbells, barbell, resistance band, physioball) but if you don't have these items, don't worry! We can substitute using common household items. The goal of this class is to build core strength and muscular endurance. We also integrate many balance and coordination exercises. Results are cumulative and you will see how they translate to your daily activities!

  • "What do I do as a Functional Nutrition Counselor?" As a Functional Nutrition Counselor, I work to provide you with insights into your health in a way that allopathic medicine cannot. I work from a full body systems perspective. I know how to ask the right questions and do the right investigative work to move toward remedy and, hopefully, resolution with those who are equally as engaged in and committed to the process You must be ready to enter into a deep partnership. I will always act with humility and curiosity each time I encounter a new client. Bioindividuality is at the core of the paradigm. I can see between the lines and pivot on a dime. Instead of coming to the table with set protocols or assertions, as nobody truly can, I work to show my clients how to have more understanding for “what's going on in there,” so that they can champion themselves and improve their relationships with their health care team. Through my mastery training in Functional Blood Chemistry Analysis, I have access to software to enter your lab results, generate a very easy to read report that brings to the surface any red flags that may not be obvious in your standard report. Functional Blood Chemistry Analysis offers guidance on your overall state of health, what conditions you are at risk for, and what actionable steps you can take. This is a core principle of Functional Medicine – but often Functional Medicine docs find themselves with little time to explain Functional Blood Chemistry results much less how to move the needle from potential health risk to optimal health and vitality. Blood biomarkers provide a view into the body’s complex functions. When viewed under a functional analysis lens, these biomarkers provide a comprehensive roadmap of your health.

    An FBCA tests blood biomarkers to help identify and track medical concerns before they become a disease. The analysis results can then be used for the following:

    1. Yoga for sleep: Getting enough sleep is essential for helping a person maintain optimal health and well-being. When it comes to health, sleep is as vital as regular exercise and eating a balanced diet. For most adults at least seven hours of sleep each night is needed for proper cognitive and behavioral functions. An insufficient amount of sleep can lead to serious repercussions. Some studies have shown sleep deprivation leaves people vulnerable to attention lapses, reduced cognition, delayed reactions, and mood shifts. Chronic sleep loss also poses a great risk to the immune system. Poor quality sleep can deteriorate immune response; however, a good night's sleep can increase your immunity. Good quality sleep helps improve the efficiency of T helper cells. T helper cells are the cells that fight invading bacteria, viruses, or any foreign antigen cells as part of the body's defense system.

    2. YBR Rescue Your Feet Keeping your feet strong and flexible can help reduce foot and ankle pain, reduce muscle soreness, improve your overall foot health, and keep you active. Exercises that help to strengthen but also lengthen the muscles are important. Doing the YBR foot routines covers both bases for you! Foot disorders such as Plantar Fasciitis, Morton’s Neuroma, Metatarsalgia, Neuropathy, Raynaud’s Syndrome, Bunions, Hammer Toes, and many generally arise from weakness of the foot muscles. Weakness of foot muscles is responsible for patterns such as pronation (rolling the weight to the inner edges of the feet) and supination (rolling the weight to the outer edges of the feet) which lead to knee, hip, and spine misalignments. These misalignments lead to pain!
